• Interactionist sociologists believe that the way people behave is shaped by social interaction with others
• So they'll want to understand the effects of teacher stereotyping + labelling will influence the pupils behaviour + achievement
• • They argue that once these have become apart of the pupils identities
  • Has the potential to become a self-fulfilling prophecy
