• A person with a type A personality are more urgent, impatient, competitive and hostile.
• Those with Type A where shown to have higher levels of stress hormones, higher BP and cholesterol.
• Those with a hardy personality are more likely to be successful in the workplace.
• Type B personality tend to be relaxed, easygoing, lack a sense of urgency and stress free.
• 257 out 3000 men (70%) that developed CHD had the Type A personality due to higher levels of stress hormones, higher blood pressure and higher cholesterol.
