  • natural reinforcers: Provided for a certain behaviour and tied to it (getting money for selling more things)
  • Contrived reinforcers: Provided for a certain behaviour and not tied to it (playing video games for selling more things)
  • Shaping: gradual creation of a new behaviour through reinforcement of successive approximation (stepping stones)
