Treatment of Criminals

• Some feel prison should be a place of isolation and punishment, and prisoners should have fewer with any privileges (e.g. such as televisions or computers).
• Others think prison should be place of rehab and reform, believing prisoners should be helped to address root cause of criminal behaviour and learn responsibility.
• prisoners are entitled to humane treatment and shows respect for the human rights.
• Many complaints about overcrowding, poor treatment and a lack of access to important services which doesn’t help prisoners to achieve rehab and reform.
