Effects of climate change

• The estimated cost of damage from flooding could rise from 2.1 billion to 12 billion by the 2080s
• Around 70% of Asia may be at an increased risk of flooding
• In central America crop yields may drop by 12%
• Extreme weather ( heatwaves and flooding) is expected to increase in the UK
• Agriculture may be affected in South Asia. A decrease in wheat and maize
• Less rainfall may effect wildlife, causing food shortages for animals
