  • Constitution = a set of rules which determine the natures and powers of the Government.
  • The UK constitution is uncodified = not written in 1 place.
  • An unwritten constitution allows for greater flexibility as there are no fixed rules that must always apply. However, this can lead to uncertainty about what the law actually is.
  • A codified constitution would be easier to understand, but it could also make it harder to change.
