7th. Guarantees: Right to a jury trial if you are being sued for a sum greater than $20
8th Guarantees:
A person cannot be held on excessive bail
A convicted person cannot be punished in a cruel or unusual way
9th. Guarantees: Just because the Constitution doesn't specifically say you have a certain right, it doesn't mean you don't have that right
10th. Guarantees: Any powers not specifically given to the federal government through the Constitution are left to the states (states' rights amendment)
10th. Exceptions: Marijuana is federally banned, but states can decide if it's legal or not (for example)
