• “And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another”. Jesus is commanding his apostles to love everyone, just as he has done.

• The love that the Samaritan shows to the Jew in this parable is the love that God wants us to show. It is easy to love friends and family, but it is much more difficult to love those who you may not get along with.
