  Holland found that when they replicated Milgram's study, 37 % of those with a high internal locus of control refused to go higher than 300V.

  23 % of those refused with a high external locus of control.

  Provides evidence support increased obedience in those with a high external and increased resistance with a high internal.

  The results of the questionnaire may have been response bias such as social desirability where people will have replied with what they believe to the socially accepted idea.
