The HCPC publishes standards relating to the character, health, profiency, conduct, ethics and training of health and social care professionals

a person registered with the HCPC they must stop work if their health affects their judgements
a long term health condition is not a barrier however if it affects work then they must speak up
HCPC- character
criminal convinctios or cautions must br revealed and character reference is required and signed by a 'professional standing in the community' such as a doctor, solicitor or religous official
HCPC - standard of conduct, performance and ethics
included acting in the best interest of service users, repsecting confidentiality of service users and maintaining hugh standards
these also include being able to communicate well with others and supervise tasks you have set on others and keep accurate record
