equations, expressions and algerbra

Cards (6)

  • in algebra, we don't use the times symbol, we just put letters next to each other
  • in algebra we list the variables alphabetically and we put the numbers first
  • factorising an expression is the one with the division and brackets
  • something expanding the brackets makes the equation much easier but sometimes its safer and more sensible to just do it normally
  • the subject of a formula always should appear in front of the equals sign without any other numbers or other operations
  • when you square a number, it could answer as both a positive or a negative, so in most situations, they're both ok!
