    • Women were expected to stay home and look after the family instead of being employed and at work.
    • Their job was to keep the home a nice place for her family; their life revolved around the three K's - Kinder, Kuchen, Kirche (Children, Kitchen, Church).
    • Hitler wanted a high birth rate for a larger population, which would lead to a larger workforce. Mothers with 8 or more children were awarded with a medal.
    • Women were supposed to wear traditional peasant costumes with flat shoes and their hair in a bun or plait.
