  • Quota sampling
    • Making sure the quota from each category is proportional to the numbers in the population as a whole
    • e.g - if 100 students in first year at uni and only 50 in second - makesure if go down to 10 students in first year there would be 5 in second year.
  • Quota sampling Adv + Dis
    • Adv = spread evenly throughout population - avoiding bias
    • Dis = can be very time consuming as categories have to be identified and calculated
