Excretion
getting rid of (not all) waste materials, only applying to ones that have been inside the body.
Digestive System
food eaten goes from the mouth to the anus through a tube is not part of a body.
Only things that move out of the digestive system and into the person's blood or their body cells, are really part of the body.
Waste
waste from the digestive system (faeces uwu) does not count as excretion since it was never part of the body. 💩
Excretion Includes
all the waste substances that organisms make in their cells and any substances that they have too much of.
Excretion Examples:
carbon dioxide, (which the body cells make in respiration)
urea, (made in liver cells)
excess water that is not needed by the body
