    • Skills of an Enterprising Person:
      • Planning - enterprising people must set short term and long term goals, and make a plan to achieve the goals.
      • Decisive - enterprising people must make decisions, but not before looking at a situation with an open mind and listening to others.
      • Interpersonal skills - enterprising people must be able to work and communicate with other people.
      • Delegation - enterprising people must assign and give tasks and authority to others while controlling all parts of the enterprise.
      • Risk-taker - enterprising people must take some risks to achieve their goals.
    • Characteristics of an Enterprising Person:
      • Confidence - enterprising people must be confident in what they do and believe they will be successful.
      • Leadership - enterprising people are good and natural leaders. They are able to carry people along and make them feel valued.
      • Flexible - enterprising people are flexible and can change their plans to adapt to a changing economy.
      • Responsible - enterprising people must take responsibility, as they can't just shrug it off and go home. It is their enterprise, no one else will help them.
      • Innovative - they must make new products and ideas to profit.
