helps the skin stay strong and heal quickly if it is damaged. it keeps blood vessels and bones healthy. ppl without enough can get scurvy (feeling weak and gums swollen and bleeding)

needed for strong bones and teeth, ppl who never go outdoors/ never get any sunlight on their skin may not get enough adn could get an illness called rickets.
