    the energy you eat in food every day should be approximately equal to the energy you use up (most of which coming from the carbs and fats)

    • sports, running or walking uses more energy
    • not moving around much uses less
    • some ppl's genes mean that their body uses up more energy quicker
    • if you're growing fast, you need extra energy to help your cells to divide
    • taller ppl use more energy
