  Sodium, Potassium, and Aluminium are always soluble

  • Halides (G7) are always soluble - except silver & lead
  • Sulfates are soluble - except barium & lead
  • Nitrates are soluble
• Making Soluble Salt

  1. Mix insoluble metal to acid until no bubbles
  2. Filter them
  3. Heat the solution
  4. Leave to evaoprate

  • This method only applies to 'other metals' group

  2. Determine the positive and negative elements needed
  3. Find something that has those
  4. Write it in the equation
