• Aquifers - Water stored in porous rocks under the ground
• Artesian Aquifers - Aquifers where water is under pressure
• Reservoirs - Are artificial lakes used as a source of water supply usually created behind a dam
• Service Reservoirs - Reservoirs where potable water is stored
• Wells - A hole dug or bored into the ground to reach water stored in the ground
• Rivers - A large natural stream of water flowing into the sea, lake or another river. They provide surface transfers of water to low lying areas
• Desalination Plants - Removal of salt from sea water by distallination where water is boiled as water vapour leaving salt behind. The water is then condenced back into liquid form.
• Surface Water - Water in lakes, rivers and swamps.
• Ground Waters - Waters in the soil and in rocks beneath the surface of the ground
• Potable - Safe to drink
