Causes of growth

  Lots of people are migrating to Mumbai from poor rural areas because of machinery taking over farms - putting people out of work and forced them to set up small scare farms which are vulnerable to bad harvests and poor weather. As a consequence many are forced to sell up to larger farm owners and manufacturing industries which pay higher wages. There is also better healthcare facilities, better education and more entertainment
