    2 Knowledge, 2 App, 2 An, 2 Ev
    2 KAA Points, 2 Eval Points
    Knowledge: Identify 2 factors/reasons, definitions
    Application: Refer to extract, data backing up each point made
    Analysis: Chains of reasoning for each point
    Evaluation: State 2 eval points and use application to back up
  • 10 Marker:
    Assess something
    2 Knowledge, 2 Application, 2 Analysis, 4 Evaluation
    1 detailed KAA paragraph: Develop ideas with chains and detail from the extract. Add diagram if needed
    1 Evaluation paragraph, in depth, chains of reasoning, details from extract
    If it says assess 2, add a second KAA paragraph
  • 12 Marker:
    Discuss something
    Level based
    2 Knowledge, 2 Application, 4 Analysis, 4 Evaluation
    2 KAA paragraphs: Depth, application, diagram if needed
    1 Evaluation paragraph: Depth and application - You only need to evaluate one of your two points in depth, but ideal to evaluate both

    Discuss something
    3 Knowledge, 3 Application, 3 Analysis, 6 Evaluation
    Level based
    2 KAA Paragraphs: Depth, application, diagram if needed
    1 Detailed evaluation paragraph with links, diagram, applications, add a second paragraph if required

    4 Knowledge, 4 Application, 8 Analysis, 9 Evaluation
    2 styles of 25 markers
    i) Evaluate one policy or thing
    ii) Evaluate multiple policies or things
    Have real world examples to apply to your essay
    Structure
    1. Intro: Define Key terms
    2. Analysis paragraph 1, with depth, application to real world examples and diagrams if needed
    3. Evaluation paragraph 1, evaluating the first analysis paragraph in detail, using application and diagrams as needed
    4. Another Analysis and Eval paragraph in the same structure
    5. Final judgement/Conclusion paragraph: Deciding what the best course of action is
  • Plan essays during revision instead of writing them out
  • 1 mark per minute in the exam
