    • pt has right to leave regardless of his physical condition
  • right to refuse participation in medical research
    • right to be advised if the health care provider plans to involve him in medical research

  • legitimate purpose, The collection and processing of information must also be true with the specified purpose, which must not be contrary to law, morals, or public policy.
  • proportionality, States that responses should be proportional to the good that can be achieved and the harm that may be caused.
  • disposal of personal data, Personal data shall be disposed or discarded in a secure manner that would prevent further processing, unauthorized access, or disclosure to any other party or the public, or prejudice the interests of the data subjects.
  • team based approach, The conduct of assessment to client, families, and/or their communities where nurses work collaboratively with all hospital team to accomplish shared goals.
