• Rough surfaces

  When parallel rays of light fall on a rough surface, each ray is reflected in different directions. The angle of reflection is still equal to angle of reflection

  The angle of reflection is STILL equal to the angle of incidence

  Since rough surfaces scatter light, we are not able to see the reflection
• Dispersion of light

  White light is made up of a spectrum of seven colors,

  Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

  When travelling from the air to the glass prism, light rays of different colors slow down to a different extent, so the light rays will bend by different angles.
• Dispersion of light

  Violet light ray bend the most while red light rays bend the least.
