      earls, barons, knights, bishops, abbots , two burgesses from each town, two knights from every shire.
    • Why did he invite so many people?
      Edward wanted a tax of merchants to pay off his Crusading debts and he wanted as many people as possible to know about his first major piece of legislation (Statute of Westminster)
    • Estimated that around 800 people were invited
