stress that the professionalism of journalists + editors also constrains the power of owners.
They argue that journalists are fierce in their pursuit of the truth + consequently have too much integrity to be biased regularly in favour of one particular perspective.
Investigative journalism also = good reputation in uncovering abuses of power + corruption among the ruling elite
