  • Platelets-have no nucleus, produce substances to clot blood at site of injury
  • Plasma- yellow liquid, transport substances. E.g C02,glucose
  • Red blood cell-no nucleus for more space for haemoglobin, biconcave shape for larger surface area to volume of oxygen ratio to diffuse in and out.
  • White blood cell- nucleus, 2 different type called lymphocyte and phagocyte, they remove foreign cells inside of you by engulfing them.
