Magic bullets

• Paul ehrlich worked with sahachiro hata discovered the first magic bullet, Salvarson 606, which was used to treat syphilis
• In the run up to finding Salvarsan 606, ehrlich injected rabbits with syphillis and then a chemical in the hope that it would cure the syphillis
• Magic bullets are drugs or treatments that cures a disease quickly and easily without producing bad effects
• Salvarsan 606 was a breakthrough because it mean that there might be other magic bullets out there for diseases
