      • for example an IQ test during WW1 claimed african americans were genetically inferior
      • leading to incorrect preconceptiosn and unfair discrimination alongside stereotyping which would have continued beyond WW1

      • increased understanding on culture bias
      • led to more native researchers being used to conduct research and interpret results
      • producing more accurate and culturally relative findings not altered by a lack of understanding on bias

      • to fully understand behaviour should loook at culture bound and universal research
