  • People = surprised when they find out a researcher is woman
  • In psych only last names are used - we don’t know the gender of the researcher
  • Yet, most authors tend to be male.
  • The American Psychological Association listed only 6 women among the 100 most famous psychologists of the 20th century.
  • This gender gap is odd because most psychology students at university are female.
