• the corpse flower has no stem, or leaves to produce food, instead it grows on out of a vine from which it feeds from
• it mimics the dead body of a mammal, from its colour, texture and even smell, this attracts flied and then the flower leaves drops of pollen on these flies to pollenate other flowers
• the corpse flower can grow up to three feet in diameter and is the largest flower in the world
