  • no waste
  • once construction is completed, running costs are low
• Disadvantages

  • producing hydrogen is usually non-renewable
  • hydrogen is not very available and is flammable
  • expensive to build
  • sites are very remote
• Potential to contribute to energy security

  Some ways are middle cost-low and are reliable but only last for 10 hours each day
