• three significant vocations are

  single life, married life, religious life
• give emphasis to the spiritual and corporal works of mercy or an apostolate service. 

  Active or apostolic religious
• spend a major portion of their day in prayer, separating themselves from the world in order to offer their prayers and sacrifices for the needs of the Church and the world.

  contemplative religious
• Young men/ladies who have a religious vocation apply for entrance  to a congregation and learn to follow  the prayers and activities of the religious congregation they chose to join.

  aspirancy
• The candidate is introduced into the experience of religious life, learns the life and history of the congregation, and acquires better self knowledge.

  postulancy
• The candidate prepares for commitment by a study of the vows and a more in-depth knowledge of the congregation. At the end  of the second year, the candidate pronounces her/his first profession of the vows to enter the next stage of formation.

  novitiate
• during this time, the candidate lives the religious life more fully and prepares in a practical way for the mission of Congregation. The Candidate takes annual vows for four years.

  Juniorate
• Nuns Unmarried virgins
• Perpetual Profession- by making perpetual vows the candidate becomes a full member of the Congregation.
• nun is a woman who has taken special vows and dedicated her life to the service of the church and its people. Nuns lead a totally religious life.
• Vow of poverty, vow of chastity, vow of obedience evangelical vows
• Vow of poverty -turning away from material wealth and possessions, and a turning towards heavenly things. 
• Vow of Chastity/Celibacy A choice of a closer and more complete relationship with the mystery of Christ and the Church for the goo of all mankind A dedication to God with an undivided heart
• Vow of Obedience The offer of the full dedication of their mind and heart as a sacrifice of themselves to God. The religious obey humbly and submit to their superiors in faith and love for God in accordance with their rules and constitutions.
• It is called blessedness commonly for it is a sacrifice, but it is for God, and the Church recognize for it is an act of HOLINESS.
• The word vocation means a call or strong inclination to a particular way of life or course of action.
• Nota bene: God calls us in different ways, it is your turn how to answer founded with love and happiness.
• marriage is a sacrament that witnesses the depth and fidelity that is impossible in love between people
• marriage -it is a union sealed by a sacrament of matrimony
