codified constitution doesnt have to be inflexible such as France who have changed many times
it would bolster the ability of the courts to hold the government to account
codified constitution would lead to better clarity and they are not difficult to make as they typically contain rights, limits on the government and the powers of political institutions
rights are better protected in a codified constitution
