  • How is a muscle cell specialised?
    Has lots of mitochondria for respiration and energy for motion.
  • How is a blood cell specialised?
    Doesn't have a nucleus so it has more room to transport more oxygen and also has disc-shape so it can optimise the flow of blood through blood vessels.
  • How is a nerve cell specialised?
    Long and thin to carry messages across the body quicker and has dendrites to spread to other nerves.
  • How is a root hair cell specialised?
    Has a large surface area to absorb water and minerals from the soil, also has lots of mitochondria for active transport.
