  'hypo' means under, 'thesis' means proposition
• Hypothesis - educated guess/tentative answer to a question
• Independent variables are variables that are changed or controlled
• Independent variable is the one who influences the results.
• Independent variable represents the cause or reason for an outcome.
• Independent variable is also called a predictor or explanatory variable.
• Dependent variable is the variable that is being tested.
• Dependent variable is the outcome that you want to explain or predict in an experiment.
• Variables are the factors affecting the experiment.
• Control variables are the variables that are not manipulated.
• Control variable is anything that is held constant or limited in an experiment.
• Quantitative is the measurement of the amount of something, usually in terms of a number.
• Qualitative is a description of the characteristics, physical traits, and behaviors.
• Conclusion either accepts/rejects the hypothesis.
