Through Continuing Education and Training (CET), displaced workers are able to retrain/upgrade their obsolete skills to find a job.
By reforming the education system in line with changing needs of the economy, the government can ensure that students would be able to find a job once they step into the labour market.
To reduce geographical immobility of labour, governments could provide financial and other assistance to workers to relocate, and to use tax and financialincentives to attract investment and direct them to specific needs.
