• Extentions

  of a one-place predicate is the complete set or group of all things/individuals to which thpredicate can truthfully be applied.
• Extension is a set of things But sense isnt
• Extension and sense both are not related to a time or a specific occasion
• Extension is like reference in linking a linguistic expression to some non-linguistic entity
• extention also contrasts with referent since the referent is a particular thing or individual not a set of things
• Fuzziness of extensions


  It refers to the ambiguity and difficulty that the speaker finds in deciding clearly on a member or members of the set or groups of the extension.

  it is a typical member of its extension.

  refers to defining predicates or prototypes of concrete things by pointing out to them
