  • What is pressure?
    Force exerted per unit area.
  • How is pressure created with gases?
Pressure in gases is caused by particles colliding with the walls of the container. When they collide with something, they exert a force on it.
  • What happens to pressure when you increase the temperature of a gas?
you transfer energy into the kinetic energy stores of its particles. The more kinetic energy they have, the faster they are moving. This means more collisions occur, which means more force is being exerted.
