Allergic Reactions

• allergic asthma - inflammation and narrowing of airways by inhaling allergens
• allergic conjunctivitis - inflammation of conjunctiva caused by allergens in the air
• allergic rhinitis - allergic reaction caused by inhaling an allergen
• allergy - hypersensitivity to a common substance (allergen)
• anaphylactic shock - life threatening allergic reaction that causes circulatory and respiratory problems, also called anaphylaxis
• contact dermititis - skin irritation due to contact with allergen
