  • Public bills are presented the government and expected to pass successfully in the law
  • Primary legislation- major price of legislation either changing the law or granting powers to subsidiary bodies of individuals to make secondary legislation
  • Secondary legislation are usually described as ministerial orders and under powers granted in primary legislation ministers or other bodies msg make minor regula
  • Private members bill- back bench MPs may enter a ballot allowing 5 of them each year to present their own peice of legislation
  • Private bills- are presented by individuals or organisations outside government and parliament and apply to parliament for premission to take certain actions
