    The Reichstag Fire, the Reichstag was burnt down. Marinus Van Der Lubbe was blamed for this.

    • Van Der Lubbe was a dutch communist
    • the evidence by the Nazis was questionable, and was belived to be used to frame communists
    • this was most likley done to pass the reichstag fire decree and decrease communist trust in Germany
