    1. Technological Convergence
    • convergence of previously separate physical technologies (print newspapers, television, CDs) into single devices.

    • economic strategies widely adopted in response to technological convergence by media companies.
    3. Cultural Convergence
    • sharing of values, beliefs, customs, and behaviors
    • result of globalization, modern advances in technology, through cultural intermarriage

    1. Digitalization: media companies moving to and expanding their media on digital platforms.
    2. Conglomeration: a few large media companies own a large proportion of various media.
    Deregulation: government deregulation over these companies' size and functions.

    1. Music: rise of K-Pop
    2. Movies and Entertainment: worldwide streaming platforms like Netflix, HBO Go, Prime Video
    3. Cuisine: different countries and cultures
    4. Education: international, and multicultural “English” schools as a sought-after alternative in some Asian/Southeast Asian
    5. Language: World languages and language learning tools have become increasingly accessible to anyone with internet access

    1. Religion: religions have converged and cooperated despite their difference in beliefs.
    2. News Media and Journalism: creating a global network of ideas and opinions
    3. Literature: Books are translated into other languages, and in turn, it allows readers from all over the world to get a better understanding of a culture, traditions, and way of thinking.
    4. Sports: World Cup is something about global opportunities
