    • Can help with self esteem
  • Cleanliness
    • Children need a clean and hygienic environment as their immune system is less mature - can pick up an infection easily.
    • This includes being washed or bathed daily
  • Stimulation
    • All children should have chance to play and stimulate their imaginations and develop at a young age
  • Routine
    • Routines help children feel safe and secure
    • These include feeding, bathing and sleep routines
    • Routines help children settle and know what to expect.
    • Helps parents to plan the day and include enough time for their children’s needs.
  • Opportunities for talking and listening
    • Listen and talking with a child shows you are interested in them and care about their opinion.
    • It encourages and develops social, emotional, intellectual and language development
