  Key events:

  • Palm Sunday - Jesus's entered Jerusalem on donkey and was waved with palm leaves by supporters - palm crosses are given out as symbol of event
  • Maundy Thursday - Last Supper and Jesus was arrested in Garden of Gesthemane
  • Good Friday - Crucifixion and death of Jesus - commemorated with fasting
  • Easter Sunday - resurrection - vigil on Saturday and church service on Sunday
