  A healthcare professional responsible for the use of ionizing radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
• Radiographer


  Performs radiographic procedures and techniques that produces images needed for diagnosis and treatment of diseases at the request of a licensed medical doctor
• Radiologist


  A medical specialist, who is a member of the Philippine College of Radiology (PCR) interprets these images to help the clinician make a diagnosis
• Associate in Radiologic Technology (ART)

  • 2-year didactic study in Physics, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Radiographic Techniques and Positioning
  • 1-year clinical internship training program in hospital

  Title conferred to a graduate of the ART program after passing the licensure examination given by the BORT through the PRC
• Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology (BSRT)

  • 4-year program
  • 3-year didactic study in Physics, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Radiographic Techniques and Positioning, Radiologic Sciences - Diagnostic Radiography, Diagnostic Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Radiation Therapy
  • 1-year clinical internship training program in hospitals
