  • Conditionals - statements expressing the result of a particular condition.
  • Presents condition - If or when clause
  • Explains the results - main clause
  • Zero conditionals - This conditional is used when the result will always happen.
  • First conditionals - It’s used to talk about things which might or possibly happen in the future.
  • Second conditionals - We use it to talk about things in the future that are probably not going to be true.
  • Second Conditionals - We use it to talk about something in the present which is impossible, but because it’s not true.
  • Third conditionals - It talks about the past. It is used to describe a situation that didn’t happen, and to imagine the result of this situation.
  • Third Conditionals form: If + Past Perfect + Would have + Past Participle
  • First conditionals form: If + present simple + will + based form
  • Second conditionals: If + past simple + would + based form
  • Zero conditionals: If + present simple + present simple
  • Present or Future Real Conditional = First Conditionals
  • Present Unreal Conditional = Second conditionals
  • Past Unreal Conditional = Third conditonals
  • Present Real Conditional = Zero Conditionals
