  • OVERUSE INJURY- Result from the continual performance of some type of movement. They include
Shin splints from running and elbow tendonitis from tennis. These injuries tend to be prolonged and take a long time to recover.
A variety of factors can lead to overuse injuries, including:

•The repetitive nature of the activity
•Insufficient recovery time between training sessions
    •Inappropriate increase in training load
    •Inadequate footwear
    •Inappropriate training surface
•Overuse injuries are usually diagnosed by the presence of inflammation and pain.
  • ARTHRITIS- •A condition characterized by inflammation of the joints in the body, causing pain and stiffness.
•Problems associated with arthritis include joint weakness, instability and deformity around the joint structure.

    • is a chronic disease causing inflammation of the joints.
•It is classified as an autoimmune disease
•Causes are not fully known .
•Immune system attacks the synovial membrane, causing swelling, pain and joint damage.
•RA is the most severe form of arthritis, generally affecting the small joints.
    • Osteoporosis- Bones with holes a characteristic by the thinning and weakened of a bone making it very fragile
