ENVIRONMENT

• An ecosystem is a biological community of interacting flaura, fauna and their environment. All parts of an ecostystem influence other parts.
• energy flows - energy is passed from one component to the next
• The flow goes : sun → environment → plants(producers) → herbivores/omnivores → carnivores → decomposers
• the removal or addition of any component to an ecosystem can cause major damage to that ecosystem
• A biome is a large naturally occuring community of flaura and fauna occupying a major habitat.
