  • Psychodynamic Approach: Explanatory Power

Explains human behaviour such as personality development, moral development and abnormal behaviour. It establishes an association between childhood and later development.
  • Psychodynamic Approach: Untestable Concepts
Popper said that the concept of falsification as proposed by the psychodynamic approach cannot be tested. The id and oedipus complex occur at an unconscious level and can't be tested. The psychodynamic approach is pseudoscientific.
