  • Noun - names something
  • Pronouns - substitutes for nouns, the noun for which pronoun is used is called antecedent. Used to eliminate redundancy.
  • Verbs - The most important part of a sentence, expressing action, feeling, or thought.
  • Adjective - used to modify, describe or add new ideas to a noun or pronoun.
  • Articles - also an adjectives used to show whether a noun is specific or general.

  • Clause - is a group of words that has a subject and a predicate
  • Sentence - is a group of words that expresses a complete thought
